I will star by evaluating my shot film using some feedback I gathered after showing my film to members of my class. As you can see my feed back is down below I would recommend listening to that befor reading my evaluation.
Feedback
Evaluation
Before I start using the feedback I would like to say that not all the scenes I planed to use are acherly in the final production. This is because I was pressed for time when filming. You will most definitely notes as watching that it dose not really hold together as a story. There are big brakes in the story line and there are plot points missing and characters are also missing are this was planed for and now it is not even part of the final production. Regardless of all the set backs the edited final film is a good stab at what could have been a grate film if I had all the footage that I had planed to get.
Using my feed back that I gathered I have found out that I needed some indication as to how I got the the location in the finale fight scene. I could also have use a noises canceler to lower the amount or volume level of background sound in some scenes. Although people did like what I had done I know that there are a lot of areas were I could improve upon and I will be sure to do that fro my next shot film. the biggest problem that I came across was not having the right scenes that i needed and this was the bottom line for a lot of the criticism that I got.
Lighting
Although no one commented on the lighting I can still tack about it as that I had any input of the lighting was when I was in the TV studio. All of the other times it was done by natural lighting which I had no control over. But even with the amount of control that I had over the light I still did not get what I wanted. As I could not get all the lights in the room to turn on. I filed the scene in such a way because I was hopping to achieve a sense of focus piont like the whole world revoled around the battle.
Sound
As I said above I used a noise canceller to lower volumes of the background sound. That was just one part of it I also used it to turn up the volume if my actors voices when it was hard to hear. Even when I used it there was still retirements of background sound and the actors voices was still hard to hear. Regardless of all that there where parts that I should or could have used a noise canceller and I did not. There were parts of the end fight scene were the main characters vious was meant to herd it was not over the sound of the music which brings me to the next part were the music was too loud.
Camera angles/shot types
In my FMP I used a range of different camera angles/shot types some are better than others and could be used in all locations. I would have liked to have had more camera angles/shot types but not managing my time well meant that this was not going to happen.
Narrative
My FMP had a long and strong narrative with a friend ship and a rivalry with a suspense building story line. Although that was the plan at least, when it came to the filming I did not get all the scenes that I wanted down. When the filming came around thing did not go as planed and my actors let me down.
Acting/costume
The acting and costume of my FMP was meant to be reflective of the characters personality. As you can tell that did not happen just like some character gimmicks that I had planed to have in my FMP. The part of my possess for my FMP was the filming as that is were things went wrong the most dragging down my FMP.
Editing
The editing of my FMP was the part that I enjoyed the most as I was able to let my creativity flow with the lack of clips. The end product turned out quite well as film even thought it doesn't really hold together.
