Ideas:

My ideas for my animations are to do a drawn animation which would be two characters from famous PVP (player vs player) games having a one on one fight. I like drawn animation and gaming and think that it would appeal to a wide audience as it is very popular with 15 - 18 year olds.

The second idea would be a montage of funny moments or interesting things in games. This would be a drawn animation with music as the soundtrack. Audiences that would like this would be males 15 - 18. I have chosen to focus on this target audience as this is the biggest target audience for this style of animation.

My third idea is to make a computer based animation using Flash/Animate. It would be a music video with an electro track that has been made for me. This would appeal to a wide audience because it incorporates CGI. This is a little more current.

Synopsis:

My animation idea will be a music video, it will be for New Year's Eve. It will start with two silhouettes, standing and discussing what stands before them. One of the characters will push a button, causing a screen to enlarge. This will be very upbeat and fast paced to fit with the style of the animation and the celebration of New Year's Eve. The video will show the creativeness of people and their behaviour on New Year's Eve. The audience will be engaged and captivated by my animation.

Primary research results:

From my primary research I have found out that 16 - 19 years old males would prefer to see a computer based animation, with stick figures and electro music as the sound track with a voice over. The audience said that they would like it to be three minutes long. I will consider what my audience would like to see and incorporate this in my final animation. My target audience are likely to watch my animation for escapism as it is CGI. My primary audience will be males, aged 16-19, who like anime, league of legends and music.

Sets:

See below. These have been designed using Flash. It is a heart beat style monitor that will fit with the beat of the animation. The set is futuristic computer style room. New years is all about the future and this fits with the theme.

Script. My script only has the music i used in the animation i call it Art Mash Up.

Development

In my animation I had trouble with the ending shot. I needed to get help with it, so that I could practice these skills and then be ready for the next time that I might have to do it. I could also match the art work to the music.
